Work email brought under control

In the weeks leading up to the start of the Academic Year, we tend to keep our nose down and our derrière up. During this time the accent is on replying to emails BUT not filing them into the plethora of folders, that I, as a Folder Junkie, maintain! Today I had some breathing space and beat my email in box and sent box into submission.

My criteria was to be ruthless with deleting. I ended up deleting 356 emails. I did not keep track of how many I filed. Next area of work to bring under control will be my In Tray this will take longer than 1/2 a day.
