Magnificent sculpture of Queen Victoria, near Town Hall Station in Sydney’s CBD.
Arrived in Sydney 0730, had a great first day of the Queen’s Birthday long weekend. First stop the Darling Harbour Farmer’s Market. Had yummy wood fired calzone pizza for breakfast followed by an ice cream “sandwich”. Next stop Powerhouse Museum. The current display of clothes donated by Dr Gene Sherman was very interesting. Parted from my family in town and had lunch on my own. Met a friend when she finished work and we went to check out the bookshop Published Art coffee at a pub then home to my nephew’s house in Killara.
